Scarlet Jane Whitaker Dunn was welcomed into the World on Thursday 2nd June. Scarlet was in such a hurry to meet the world that she couldn't wait to get to Darlington Hospital - she instead arrived at 12.20 pm at Newton Aycliffe Doctors Surgery!

Amanda & husband Anthony made the front page of YourLocal newspaper in January, as the paper did an article on Amanda's racing career & how they are showing youngsters how to get involved in motor racing through the 'GoMotorsport' campaign.
Amanda will be showing her car and talking about her career in motorsport together with Anthony at Darlington College on 28th January.

Amanda had a promising, but ultimately disappointing weekend at home circuit Croft's 'Nostalgia weekend'.
She was racing in both HSCC Historic Formula Ford 1600 in and Historic Formula Ford 2000 in Amaron Racing's Elden Mk8 and TIGA SF78.

Amanda made a return to the North West Formula Ford Championship at Oulton Park this weekend.
She was racing the SC93 Swift Formula Ford 1600 in the Championship, which she last raced at the start of her career in the early 1990's.
She finished 5th in class in race one and 7th in race 2, despite having limited mileage in the car.

Following her dominant display at the Croft season opener, Amanda had engine problems at Cadwell Park Classic Formula Ford 1600 championship in her Elden Mk8, leading to a non-start for the race.
At the start of testing on Friday, she noticed low oil pressure on her gauge on her 'out lap' and she had to switch her engine off & coast back into the pits to avoid damaging the unit.
The engine was replaced with a spare for Sunday's qualifying, but that too ...
